The Zenith El Primero A384 Revival, reference 03.A384.400/21.M384, is a faithful reissue of the original 1969 A384, one of the first watches to house the legendary El Primero high-frequency chronograph movement. Preserving the vintage proportions and design codes of the historic model, this certified pre-owned luxury watch is presented in new condition and supplied with its original box and papers.
The 37 mm stainless steel case retains the distinctive tonneau shape of the 1969 original, offering compact and authentic proportions true to the Revival concept. The white dial delivers a clean and highly legible aesthetic, enhanced by contrasting black chronograph sub-dials in a classic panda configuration. Applied hour markers, luminous hands, and a discreet date window at 4:30 maintain the period-correct design while ensuring everyday practicality.
Powering the watch is the Zenith El Primero 400 automatic movement. Operating at a high frequency of 36,000 vibrations per hour (5 Hz), this in-house calibre allows precise chronograph measurements to 1/10th of a second and provides a power reserve of approximately 50 hours. Visible through the sapphire case back, the movement reflects Zenith’s enduring expertise in high-frequency chronograph engineering.
The watch is fitted with a stainless steel ladder-style bracelet, faithfully reproducing the iconic Gay Frères design associated with the original A384. This bracelet enhances both comfort and vintage authenticity while delivering a cohesive aesthetic.
