Buying a pre-owned luxury watch in Germany
Germany is the largest pre-owned watch market in Europe, and the one where buyers ask the sharpest questions. That suits us. Every watch is checked in Zürich before it is listed, and you still have thirty days to change your mind once it is on your wrist.

Import VAT
German import VAT of 19 percent is charged when the parcel enters the country, and it is paid by you rather than included in our price. Wrist watches of Swiss origin normally carry no customs duty under the free trade agreement between Switzerland and the EU when the origin is documented, and we send the paperwork with every shipment.
Common questions
- What will a watch from Switzerland actually cost me in Germany?
- The price on the page, plus German import VAT of 19 percent charged on arrival. Customs duty on Swiss watches is normally zero when origin is documented, and we include that paperwork. Delivery and insurance are on us.
- Can I pay in euro from a German bank?
- Yes. We accept SEPA transfers in euro from any German bank. The invoice is issued in Swiss francs and the euro amount is fixed on your proforma invoice before you send anything.
