About this watch
The Rolex Submariner Date "Hulk", reference 116610LV, is one of the most beloved and immediately recognisable nicknames in the entire collector community, earned the moment Rolex extended the all-green theme to both the dial and bezel back in 2010. This certified pre-owned example from 2016 is offered in very good condition and comes with its full original set, including box, papers, and all original accessories.
Crafted entirely in Oystersteel, the 116610LV features a solid 40mm Oyster case water resistant to 300 metres, paired with a unidirectional rotatable bezel fitted with a green Cerachrom ceramic insert. Green on green, unapologetic and glorious, and now discontinued, making every example that much harder to find.
The green sunburst dial is the defining feature of this reference, shifting from deep forest to brilliant emerald depending on the angle of the light, with large luminescent Mercedes hands and hour markers offering exceptional legibility in any condition. A dial that looks different every time you put it on, and better every time you look at it.
Powering the watch is the Rolex Calibre 3135, a highly reliable in-house automatic movement featuring a Parachrom hairspring for outstanding precision and resistance to magnetic fields and shocks, with a 48-hour power reserve. The dependable engine behind one of Rolex’s most charismatic references.
The watch is fitted with the Oyster bracelet with Oysterlock safety clasp and Glidelock extension system, offering both security and effortless daily comfort.
