Portugieser

The IWC Portugieser Automatic, reference IW500701, is a distinguished example of classical Swiss watchmaking, combining balanced proportions with exceptional mechanical autonomy. Crafted in precious metal and powered by a high-performance in-house movement, this certified pre-owned luxury watch is presented in very good condition and offered as watch only.

The watch features a 42.3 mm case crafted from 18K rose gold, delivering a refined and elegant wrist presence. The silver-plated dial reflects the timeless Portugieser design language, with applied Arabic numerals, slender feuille hands, a small seconds display at 9 o’clock, and a power reserve indicator at 3 o’clock. The symmetrical layout enhances legibility while preserving the collection’s iconic aesthetic.

Powering the watch is the IWC-manufactured Calibre 52010 automatic movement. Equipped with the brand’s Pellaton winding system and twin barrels, this in-house calibre offers an impressive 7-day power reserve (approximately 168 hours). Operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour, it embodies IWC’s commitment to long-term precision, durability, and advanced engineering.

The watch is fitted with a leather strap that complements the rose gold case and enhances its formal elegance. A sapphire crystal protects the dial and case back, allowing a view of the finely finished movement.

In very good overall condition, the case and strap show light signs of wear consistent with careful ownership. Offered as watch only, this pre-owned luxury watch represents an excellent opportunity to acquire the IWC Portugieser Automatic IW500701, combining precious metal refinement, extended power reserve, and enduring Swiss craftsmanship.
